This Coeur d'Alene couple uses their property as a ministry getaway for weary pastors and to entertain their family and friends. Their existing small patio and inconvenient access made entertaining outside less than desirable. We designed and constructed an outdoor living environment large enough to handle their entertaining needs. It included a patio large which accommodated one of our signature rustic pavilions with enough space left over for a separate table and chairs outside the pavilion. A gas fire pit and slate boulder staircase were snuggled into the hillside at one end of the patio with strategically placed boulders which created stadium style seating and the function of a retaining wall. A wood-burning fireplace was added under the pavilion for the couple to enjoy by themselves or when they have guests. We then finished the rest of the landscape with beds and a lawn area to compliment the home and the outdoor living space.
